How does Santa get around without waking anybody up?

santamory2 Hello, Santamory here! You know, the one in charge of all the science and technology here at the North Pole.

Now, you might be wondering about how Santa can get into all those houses so quietly, and never leave footprints?

Stealthy isn’t exactly the picture you have in mind when you think of an overweight, elderly man travelling all over the world in a big red outfit, thumping great boots and a sleigh pulled by 8 reindeer.

Well, there’s no reason he can’t be placed into each home with something like a mechanical rig attached to the sleigh. Much quicker than trying to squeeze down a chimney.

Whether through a door, window, chimney or cat flap, a robotic arm with Santa-capacity could easily handle this. Whilst this might sound a tall order for a human inventor, with a little elf design and technology, who’s doubting this? What, you thought elves were only good for making toys?

Or are you still wondering how Santa can deliver all those presents so fast? If he had to do it all by hand, I could understand your questioning. But with a robotic arm…

Santa in fact doesn’t even need to worry about getting out of the sleigh at all! Literally a fraction of a second is all it takes and he’s gone.
